Three steps: two on ARCA, one in the app
No certificates, no files: you authorize Icono to issue on your behalf, the same model the best-known invoicing services use. The app guides you screen by screen.
Step 1 Create the point of sale
On ARCA, under “Administración de puntos de venta”, create one with the system ending in “Web Services”.
Step 2 Authorize Icono
In the “Administrador de Relaciones”, add the “Facturación Electrónica” service with Icono’s CUIT as representative.
Step 3 Verify and invoice
Back in the app, tap “Verify with ARCA”. If you just did it, ARCA may take up to 24 hours to activate it.

FAQ
What everyone asks
Does it work in my country?
Mi Comprobante issues electronic invoices through ARCA, Argentina’s tax agency: it is for businesses with an Argentine CUIT, in any language.
Are the invoices official?
Yes. They are electronic receipts issued through ARCA, with a CAE and the official QR code on the PDF. They are yours, under your CUIT: the same ones you would issue from the ARCA site.
Will you ask for my tax password?
No, never. The tax password is only used on the ARCA site, to authorize Icono to issue on your behalf. You can revoke that authorization anytime.
Do I have to handle certificates?
No. With the authorization to Icono there are no files or certificates to renew. If you are an accountant or prefer your own digital certificate, that works too: request it in the app and Icono approves it.
What kind of invoice does it issue?
Type A, B and C invoices and their credit notes. Responsable Inscripto? A to a Responsable Inscripto or Monotributista (simplified regime), B to everyone else. Monotributista or Exento (VAT-exempt)? Always C. The system picks the type.
What changes with VAT status from December 1, 2026?
ARCA rejects an invoice if the customer’s VAT status does not match the invoice type. Mi Comprobante already sends it on every invoice and, before requesting the CAE, checks it with ARCA: if it does not match, it tells you why instead of using up the number.
Do credits expire?
No. Each invoice approved by ARCA uses one credit; if ARCA rejects it or is down, nothing is deducted. With the unlimited plan you issue without using credits.
Can I void an invoice?
Yes, with a credit note for the full amount, from the invoice list. It uses one credit, like an invoice (unless on the plan). Partial credit notes are not available yet.
Do I need a registered business?
No. You can invoice as an individual, with your logo and watermark. If you later register your business on Icono, you add the other modules.
Do I need a computer?
No. It runs in your phone’s browser (and can be installed as an app), so you can invoice at the counter or wherever you are.
What if I already have my own system?
Invoice from there with our API: you generate an API key and we handle the connection to ARCA and the retries.
Does it replace my accountant?
No. It issues your receipts; your tax status, the VAT that applies and tax filing are still your accountant’s job.
